Check it out:: Each meal site is allotted different budgets for meals. A meal at Cosgrove (a free meal site) costs approx. $1.30.
A meal at 2100 Men's Shelter (which houses about 400 men) costs approx. 19 cents.
What the hell kind of meal can you put together with 19 cents??

.19 is how much the people in charge get to spend per meal?
What do they serve for lunch then?
I can only think that this is a per serving, so if they buy a bulk of green beans at so-and-so and divide it between so-and-so-people, the costs go down. But still .19 is nothing to work with. That's, like, just the green beans.
